MARC L. BAILIN, ESQ.

Marc_Bailin

Marc L. Bailin is a co-founder of W Financial and a senior partner in the New York City law firm Rubin & Bailin, LLP. He has been practicing law since 1978 in New York and California. Mr. Bailin has been an owner and investor in commercial and residential investment properties in the New York metropolitan area for more than 35 years and has significant experience in real estate investment, financing and management.

Mr. Bailin has represented numerous start-up ventures and often counsels and advises in raising capital, strategic planning, domestic and international banking transactions and intellectual property licensing matters. Mr. Bailin received a B.A. from Yale University, an M.B.A. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business, and his law degree from Boston University School of Law. Mr. Bailin is also a New York State Licensed Real Estate Broker

BARBARA A. CHELL

Barbara_ChellBarbara has 25 + years of experience in commercial and residential lending. She has held senior level positions in finance, operations, processing, servicing and risk reporting. She is a respected thought leader in the residential lending community, adept at communicating to multiple audiences. Barbara has the skills required to build consensus and influence opinion as well as consistently execute challenging projects on time and within budget.

Barbara was a Founding Partner of The Winter Group, an investment bank specializing in the purchase, sale and securitization of residential mortgages. At the Winter Group, Barbara was responsible for overseeing warehouse lending to originators, origination sales andoperations of the firm. In addition, Barbara was instrumental in the creation and operating governance of a loan servicing subsidiary.

Prior to the Winter Group, Barbara was the Chief Operating Officer at CSFB for the residential mortgage business unit and Senior Vice President, Donaldson, Lufkin, Jenrette in the combined residential and commercial business unit. She was a key member of the team responsible for developing the mortgage servicer, Calmco (now known as Select Portfolio Services). In this role, Barbara was responsible for all the processing and risk reporting, due diligence, trade support and collateral analysis with a staff of over 100. Barbara also held positions of Vice President at Drexel Burnham, focusing on financial reporting for residential mortgages and Paine Webber in the Controller’s division. Barbara earned her B.S. in Accounting from SUNY, Old Westbury.

FREDERICK A. MILLER

Fred_MillerAs CEO and Lead Strategist of The Kaleel Jamison Consulting Group, Inc.—named one of Consulting magazine’s “Seven Small Jewels” in 2010—Mr. Miller specializes in developing workforce utilization strategies that accelerate results to deliver higher individual, team, and organizational performance. A pioneering change agent and thought leader in the field of organization development, he has led transformative change interventions in Fortune 50 corporations, large not-for-profit organizations, and government agencies throughout the United States, Europe, Australia, and Asia, including Merck, Allstate, United Airlines, Toyota, EILEEN FISHER, Northeast Utilities, Singapore Telecom, the McArthur Foundation, the City of San Diego, and many others.

A past member of the board of directors of Ben & Jerry’s Homemade, Inc., he currently serves on the boards of Pinchot (one of the first graduate schools focused on sustainability), Day & Zimmermann (a $3 billion family-owned business), The Sage Colleges, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Center for Automated Technology Systems, and Hudson Partners (a real estate investment trust fund). Mr. Miller was the first person to serve on all three boards of the most prestigious organizations in his field—ATD (formerly ASTD), Organization Development Network, and National Training Labs (NTL).

JAMES R. TUSTY

Jim TustyMr. Tusty is an independent filmmaker, speaker, and entrepreneur.  He is Executive Producer and Co-Filmmaker along with his wife, Maureen, in their company Sky Films Incorporated.  Mr. Tusty originally founded Mountain View Group, Ltd. in 1981, and built it into a high-level filmmaking and communications consulting firm that serviced some of the largest companies in the world, including GE, Coca-Cola, andThe Home Depot. Mr. Tusty sold his company in 2008 to two long-standing employees. While helming Mountain View, he developed WorkForce Instinct™ (WFI), an organizational communications process that drives corporate missions into the gut of the entire organization. Working with senior management, WFI was a communications and motivational tool primarily used during major periods of change, such as CEO transitions.  Mr. Tusty provides exceptional business and marketing strategy as well as his impressive rolodex as an advisor to HPD.

JOHN WISSING

Mr. Wissing is an experienced operations and project management leader with 25+ years of experience in the financial services industry. He has a demonstrated track record of designing and executing innovative solutions for complex business problems, including driving growth, reducing costs and streamlining operations at a broad range of financial services organizations. Mr. Wissing has a strong ability to translate strategic organizational goals into clear operational and cross-functional plans, leading to measurable results. He is adept at conducting comprehensive reviews and analysis of organizational operations, developing and implementing strategies and solutions that achieve consensus among key stakeholders and managing teams in pursuit of common goals and expected project outcomes.

Mr. Wissing specializes in providing strategic operating model design and implementation advisory services to a broad spectrum of financial services industry participants including banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and commercial and residential mortgage companies. Prior to this, he had an extensive career at First Albany Capital having held senior level positions as Director of Operations, Director of Client Relations and Vice President Institutional Sales. John earned a B.S. in Sports Management from SUNY, Cortland.
